Maharashtra’s Mumbai, Thane and Palghar are expected to witness heavy rainfall in isolated areas. A yellow alert has been issued for these areas.

- Northwest India
Very heavy rainfall is likely over parts of west Rajasthan between August 5 and 6 and in Uttarakhand from August 6-7.
Isolated heavy rainfall is likely in Jammu and Kashmir between August 5-7; Himachal Pradesh between August 5-10; Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi on August 7 and 8; Uttarakhand on August 5 and from August 8 to 10; west Uttar Pradesh between August 6 and 10; east Uttar Pradesh between August 5 and 10; west Rajasthan on August 9 and 10; east Rajasthan on August 5 and from August 7 to 10.
- West and Central India
Heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected in isolated places over Gujarat and Madhya Maharashtra on Monday.
The IMD has predicted heavy rainfall over west Madhya Pradesh between August 5 and 10; east Madhya Pradesh on August 5, 7, 9 and 10; Gujarat from August 6 to 10; Goa on August 5, 6 and between August 8 and 10; Madhya Maharashtra on August 6 and between August 8 and 10; Chhattisgarh from August 6 to 10.
- East and Northeast India
Arunachal Pradesh will see hefty rainfall in isolated places from August 7 to 9; Assam and Meghalaya on August 5, 6 and 9; Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura on August 5; sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim on August 5 and 6.
Further, isolated heavy rainfall is likely in Arunachal Pradesh on August 5, 6 and 10; Assam and Meghalaya on August 7, 8 and 10; Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura from August 6 to 10; sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim on August 7 and 8; Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha and Jharkhand on August 6 and 7.
- South Peninsular India
Heavy rainfall is expected in isolated places over Kerala and Tamil Nadu on Monday and coastal Karnataka during August 5-6.
The weather department has predicted fairly widespread to widespread light to moderate rainfall over Kerala, Lakshadweep, and coastal Karnataka as well as isolated to scattered rain over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, interior Karnataka and Rayalaseema over the next five days.
