Vodafone Idea Ltd. informed the exchanges that its senior management will hold a conference call on Monday, September 23, to update on the recent developments.

The senior management of Vodafone Idea, including CEO Akshaya Moondra and CFO Murthy GVAS along with other management personnel will be participating in the conference call between 2:30 PM to 3 PM on Monday.

Vodafone Idea’s shares fell nearly 20% on Thursday after the Supreme Court had dismissed the curative petition filed by telecom companies over computation of the AGR dues.

Vodafone Idea’s current AGR dues stand at over ₹70,300 crore.

Brokerage firm Nomura wrote in its note that the worst is over now for Vodafone Idea and that the recent sharp fall in its stock price, coupled with the strong outlook for the telecom sector, presents a good buying opportunity to buy shares of the telecom operator.

The brokerage upgraded the stock to “buy” from its earlier rating of “neutral” but left its price target unchanged at ₹15 per share.

After a choppy day of trade, shares of Vodafone Idea ended 1.3% higher at ₹10.52, still below its FPO price of ₹11.
