As per the agreement, Suzlon will supply 162 S144 wind turbine generators with Hybrid Lattice Towers, which are of 3 MW capacity each in the Bhogat region in Gujarat.

This is the fifth order that Suzlon has received from Torrent Power. However, financial considerations of the contract are not disclosed yet.

“The success of our S144 wind turbine, known for its ability to deliver optimal power performance even in low‐wind conditions, has been a key driver of this collaboration,” Suzlon Group CEO JP Chalasani said.

Shares of Suzlon are still down 1.9% on Friday, despite the order win, at ₹53.26. The stock is down over 38% from its recent peak of ₹86 and is yet to declare its December quarter results.
