Tata Motors | The Tata Group auto major on Saturday reported an 8% year-on-year decline in its domestic and international sales at 79,344 units in February. The auto major sold 86,406 units in the same month last year. Total domestic sales were 9 per cent down at 77,232 units last month against 84,834 units in the year-ago period, Tata Motors said in a regulatory filing. Overall passenger vehicle (PV) sales, including electric vehicles, were down 9% at 46,811 units as compared with 51,321 units a year ago. Total commercial vehicle sales declined 7% year on year to 32,533 units in February.

TVS Motor | The auto major reported strong auto sales for February 2025, with total sales reaching 4.03 lakh units, surpassing CNBC-TV18’s estimate of 3.90 lakh units. This reflects a 10% year-over-year (YoY) growth from 3.68 lakh units. The company’s 2-wheeler sales were up 10% to 3.91 lakh units from 3.57 lakh units YoY. Electric vehicle sales surged 34% to 24,017 units from 17,959 units YoY. TVS Motor exports grew 26% to 1.24 lakh units from 98,856 units YoY, while three-wheeler sales increased 14% to 12,087 units from 10,614 units YoY.

Eicher Motors | The premium two-wheeler maker reported February 2025 auto sales for Royal Enfield (RE), with total sales reaching 90,670 units, exceeding CNBC-TV18’s poll estimate of 87,625 units. Maruti Suzuki | The company’s February 2025 auto sales totaled 1.99 lakh units, falling short of CNBC-TV18’s poll estimate of 2.05 lakh units. This represents a modest 1% year-over-year (YoY) increase from 1.97 lakh units. Domestic sales grew by 3.6% to 1.74 lakh units from 1.68 lakh units YoY, while exports declined by 13.5% to 25,021 units from 28,927 units YoY.
