The Supreme Court on Wednesday (February 12) deprecated the practice of announcing freebies ahead of elections saying the people are not willing to work as they get free ration and money.
The apex court asked, “Will it not be better to make people a part of mainstream of the society and permit them to contribute to the nation’s development?”

In every election, party announces a dole of freebies for every section of society to garner votes.
