The fund is an actively managed equity scheme focused on large-cap stocks. It aims to deliver long-term capital appreciation by investing in the top 100 large-cap companies.

The strategy is based on Samco’s proprietary C.A.R.E. momentum system, which selects stocks with strong price action, revenue growth, and earnings acceleration.

Viraj Gandhi, CEO of Samco Asset Management, said, “Large-cap stocks are attractively priced compared to mid and small caps. This fund leverages a momentum-driven strategy to capitalise on market opportunities while managing risks effectively.”
The fund will maintain at least 80% exposure to large-cap equities. It integrates tactical hedging and derivative strategies to manage volatility.

The investment team includes Nirali Bhansali, Umeshkumar Mehta, and Dhawal Ghanshyam Dhanani.

Umeshkumar Mehta, CIO of Samco Asset Management, said, “Our active stock selection aims to outperform passive large-cap strategies by identifying strong momentum indicators. We focus on optimising risk-adjusted returns.”

The benchmark for the fund is the Nifty 100 Total Returns Index (TRI).

Investors can participate with a minimum investment of ₹5,000 for lumpsum and ₹500 for SIPs with at least 12 installments.
