Drug firm Pfizer Ltd on Friday (January 31) reported a 1.9% year-on-year (YoY) decline in net profit at ₹127.6 crore for the third quarter that ended December 31, 2024. In the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, Pfizer posted a net profit of ₹130 crore, the company said in a regulatory filing.

The company’s revenue from operations dipped 0.4% to ₹538 crore as against ₹540 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal. At the operating level, EBITDA fell 4.4% to ₹146 crore in the third quarter of this fiscal over ₹152.7 crore in the corresponding period in the previous fiscal.

EBITDA margin stood at 27.1% in the reporting quarter as compared to 28.3% in the corresponding period in the previous fiscal. EBITDA is earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation.

The results came after the close of the market hours. Shares of Pfizer Ltd ended at ₹4,529.00, up by ₹12.45 or 0.28% on the BSE.
