Patanjali Foods Block Deal: Stock falls 3% after 1.2 crore shares change hands – CNBC TV18

The shares of Patanjali Foods changed hands in a block deal on Friday, September 13. 1.2 crore shares equivalent to 3.3% equity of the FMCG company worth ₹2,223.4 crore changed hands in the session. The buyers and sellers in the deal are not known.

Earlier, CNBC-TV18 had reported that Patanjali Group is set to raise up to $240 million through a block trade. This involves the sale of a 3% stake in Patanjali firms at a floor price of ₹1,815 per share.

In 2019, Patanjali Foods acquired Ruchi Soya Industries for ₹4,350 crore. In July 2024, Patanjali Foods further expanded by acquiring the non-food business of Patanjali Ayurved for ₹1,100 crore. This acquisition covers the company’s home and personal care segments, including dental care, skincare, haircare, and home care products.
