The instalment was released during a public event in Sundargarh, Odisha.
Chief Minister Mohan Majhi announced that more than ₹1,000 crore has been transferred under the Subhadra Yojana so far.
The scheme has already benefited 80 lakh women, and the state government aims to cover over 1 crore women by December 2024.
Majhi emphasised that the Subhadra Yojana delivers direct financial aid,
unlike Mission Shakti, which provided interest-free loans.
“This is Odisha’s largest welfare initiative, supporting over 1 crore mothers and sisters,” he said.
In Sundargarh district, over 4.59 lakh women registered for the scheme, and more than 3.37 lakh women received their first instalment in this phase.
How to check Subhadra Yojana beneficiary status?
Beneficiaries can check their payment status online. Here’s a step-by-step guide:
- Visit the official website: subhadra.odisha.gov.in.
- Click on the “Beneficiary List” option on the homepage.
- Select your details: Choose your district, tehsil, gram panchayat, and ward.
- Find your name: The list will display the approved beneficiaries. If your name appears on the list, the instalment will be credited to your bank account via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida noted that over 1 crore women have digitised their documents to avail the benefits. She also thanked Asha workers and self-help groups for their contributions to the initiative.
