Hyderabad-based cement maker NCL Industries on Friday (January 10) released its Q3 operational update, reporting a decline in key cement-related metrics while achieving growth in its doors segment.

Cement production fell 12% year-on-year (YoY) to 6.61 lakh tonnes, compared to 7.49 lakh tonnes in the same period last year. Cement dispatches also dropped 11% YoY to 6.62 lakh tonnes from 7.41 lakh tonnes.

Cement board production decreased 3% YoY to 20,231 tonnes, while dispatches were down 5% YoY at 18,743 tonnes. The ready-mix concrete (RMC) segment saw a marginal 1% decline in production and sales, standing at 88,258 cubic metres (CuM), compared to 80,974 CuM last year.
However, the doors segment demonstrated strong growth, with production and sales surging 39% YoY to 8,680 units, up from 6,237 units in the previous year.
Shares of NCL Industries Ltd ended at ₹204, down by ₹0.15, or 0.073%, on the BSE.
