HSCC India has won two orders from Maharashtra’s National Health Mission. The first order, worth ₹259.35 crore, is for the establishment and operations of Hinduhridaysamrat Balasaheb Thackery Aapla Dawakhana in Maharashtra.
The second order is for the establishment of Radiation Oncology Unit (Radiotherapy Unit) on turnkey basis at District Jalna, Ratnagiri, Baramati and Dharashiv in Maharashtra.
NBCC reported its September quarter results, which were higher on some parameters on a year-on-year basis, but its margins saw a contraction compared to last year.
The company’s net profit for the quarter rose by 52.8% from the same quarter last year to ₹125.1 crore from ₹81.9 crore. Revenue for the period stood at ₹2,458.7 crore.
NBCC’s Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortisation (EBITDA) for the quarter stood at ₹100 crore, which was 4.6% higher than the same quarter last year.
EBITDA margin, however, narrowed on a year-on-year basis by 50 basis points to 4.1% from 4.6% during the same period last year.
On August 31, NBCC had announced a bonus issue of 1:2, which means shareholders were eligible to receive one bonus share for every two shares held as on the record date.
NBCC had fixed October 7 as the record date for the bonus issue.
This was the first such proposal the company is considering after 2017, which the company had declared a 1:2 bonus issue as well.
Shares of NBCC are currently trading 2.44% higher at ₹102.49. The stock has nearly doubled in value so far this year, rising 88%.
