State-owned telecom operator Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL) reported a net loss of ₹836 crore for the third quarter of FY25, compared to a loss of ₹839 crore in the same period last year.

The company’s revenue from operations declined 11.6% year-on-year to ₹170 crore, down from ₹192.2 crore in Q3 FY24, reflecting ongoing challenges in the telecom sector.

MTNL’s earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) loss widened to ₹128.1 crore from ₹125.7 crore in the year-ago period, indicating sustained cost pressures and operational difficulties.
