Milkipur, Erode East Bypolls, Delhi Assembly Elections
Earlier, on Wednesday, Uttar Pradesh’s Milkipur recorded a voter turnout of 65%, while Erode East witnessed a 64% turnout. The resignation of SP leader Awadhesh Prasad necessitated Milkipur bypolls, while the death of Congress MLA EVKS Elangovan prompted the polls in Tamil Nadu’s Erode East.
The results of Delhi elections will also be declared on Saturday. The ruling AAP is seeking a hat-trick of full terms, while the BJP is determined to win big this time,after 27 years. Congress is hoping for an improvement in its performance after drawing a blank in the last two assembly polls.
