An earthquake of 7.7 magnitude has hit Thailand on Friday afternoon (March 28).

Myanmar has been struck by two consecutive earthquakes on Friday. First earthquake hit the country at 11:50 am and was measured at 7.2 magnitude on Richter scale, reported National Centre for Seismology (NCS).

The second earthquake struck Myanmar at 12: 02 pm, measuring at 7.0 magnitude on the Richter scale as per India’s NCS report.

The depth of the Myanmar earthquakes was located 10 km below the surface.
