Maharashtra Voter Turnout Latest Update: 6.61% voter turnout till 9 am – CNBC TV18

As per election officials, Maharashtra registered a voter turnout of 6.61% by 9 a.m. on Wednesday, November 20, during polling across all 288 state assembly constituencies.

By 9 am, the Gadchiroli district recorded a turnout of 12.33%, with the Armori assembly segment reporting 13.53%.

In the Mumbai suburban region, voter turnout stood at 7.88%, with the suburbs of Bhandup and Mulund registering 10.59% and 10.71%, respectively.

Mumbai City reported a turnout of 6.25%. Colaba recorded 5.35% voter participation, while Worli registered the lowest at 3.78%.

Polling commenced on Wednesday with the ruling BJP-led Mahayuti alliance seeking to retain power and the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) aiming for a significant comeback.

Voting began at 7 am across all 288 assembly constituencies and will continue until 6 pm. The counting of votes is scheduled for November 23. More than 9.7 crore voters are eligible to cast their ballots, selecting from 4,136 candidates contesting the elections.
