Karur Vysya Bank Q2 business update: Advances rise 14%, deposits up 15.4% – CNBC TV18

Karur Vysya Bank has released its business update for the second quarter of FY2024. As of September 30, 2024, the bank reported total advances of ₹80,296 crore, reflecting a year-on-year increase of 14%.

Total deposits for the bank reached ₹95,839 crore.

This marks a rise of 15.4% compared to ₹83,068 crore from the previous year.

The bank’s overall total business as of September 30, 2024, stood at ₹1,76,135 crore.

This represents a growth of 14.73% year-on-year from ₹1,53,516 crore.

Additionally, the CASA (Current Account Savings Account) ratio recorded an increase to ₹28,232 crore, up 5.37% from ₹26,794 crore in the same period last year.

At the time of writing this report, the shares of Karur Vysya Bank was trading 0.35% negative at ₹213.90 apiece.
