Jet fuel (ATF) prices were raised by 1.45% on Sunday (December 1), marking the second consecutive monthly hike. The cost of ATF surged by ₹1,318.12 per kilolitre, reaching ₹91,856.84 per kl in the national capital.

This increase follows a 3.3% rise (₹2,941.5 per kl) on November 1, after two rounds of price cuts earlier this year.

Mumbai’s ATF price also saw an increase, climbing to ₹85,861.02 per kl from ₹84,642.91.

The rise in ATF prices aligns with global oil price fluctuations, impacting the aviation sector.

Simultaneously, commercial LPG rates for hotels and restaurants were raised by ₹16.5 per 19-kg cylinder, now priced at ₹1,818.50.

This marks the fifth consecutive monthly hike, totaling ₹172.5 per cylinder since August. LPG prices have reached their highest in a year, reversing the four prior monthly reductions.

In contrast, domestic cooking gas prices remained stable at ₹803 per 14.2-kg cylinder. Petrol and diesel prices in Delhi remain unchanged at ₹94.72 and ₹87.62 per litre, respectively, after a reduction of ₹2 per litre in March.

Fuel price revisions are implemented by state-owned IOC, BPCL, and HPCL based on international fuel trends and foreign exchange rates.
