GE T&D India | Power transmission and distribution solution provider promoters, Grid Equipments Private and GE Grid Alliance B.V., announced a proposed offer for sale (OFS). The floor price of the offer will be ₹1,400 per equity share. The OFS involves up to 11.7% of the company’s equity share capital, which amounts to 30 million shares.

Garden Reach Shipbuilders | Warship-maker said it has received a $54-million order for the construction and delivery of four additional multi-purpose vessels from Germany-based Carsten Rehder Schiffsmakler and Reederei GmbH & Co. The vessels will be designed, built, and delivered over a period of 33 months from the original contract signing date.

BL Kashyap | Engineering, procurement and construction company said it has secured a new work order worth approximately ₹221 crore. The contract, awarded by SSS Realty & Co, involves civil, structural, and allied works for a project in Koramangala, Bengaluru, with a completion timeline of around 20 months.

Apollo Micro Systems | The company said it has been shortlisted by the Armament Research and Development Establishment (ARDE) under DRDO for the transfer of technology (ToT) related to the production of PRACHAND munition hardware. PRACHAND is an anti-tank munition with full-width attack capability.

IREDA | The company said the Department of Investment and Public Asset Management (DIPAM) has approved the alternative mechanism on the proposal of raising funds by the company. DIPAM has approved the alternative mechanism upon the recommendation of the high-level committee.

Ion Exchange | Water treatment and environment management company said it has been awarded contracts valued at approximately ₹161.19 crore by Adani Power Ltd. The contracts involve providing comprehensive water and environment management solutions for two 800 MW units at Adani’s Raipur and Raigarh ultra-superpower projects.

Allcargo Logistics | The company has reported a significant milestone for August 2024, achieving its highest-ever Full Container Load (FCL) volume of 56,000 TEUs. This marks a 10% year-on-year growth and a 4% increase from the previous month, driven by surging demand across Latin America, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific.

Power Grid Corporation of India | The company said it has been declared the successful bidder to establish a major inter-state transmission system under a tariff-based competitive bidding process. The scope of the project includes the establishment of a new 765/400/220kV sub-station in Kurawar, Madhya Pradesh, along with 765kV and 400kV double circuit transmission lines and associated bays extension at existing substations within the state.

Nazara Technologies | Gaming company announced the acquisition of an additional 19.35% stake in Absolute Sports, the parent company of Sportskeeda, for ₹145.5 crores. With this transaction, Nazara’s total ownership in Absolute Sports increases to 91%, further solidifying its leadership position in the sports media landscape.

Aavas Financiers | The company said it has approved the issuance of on-convertible debentures (NCDs) to raise ₹630 crore. The company will issue up to 63,000 “rated, listed, senior, unsubordinated, secured, transferable, redeemable NCDs with a face value of ₹1 lakh each, the Jaipur-based housing finance company said in an exchange filing.
