October CPI inflation and IIP Data LIVE Updates: India’s Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) will release the Consumer Price Index (CPI) and the Index of Industrial Production (IIP) data for October 2024 at 4 PM on Tuesday (November 12) on its official website. This release time marks a change in the Ministry’s data announcement schedule, implemented in November 2024.

Previously, MoSPI published the CPI and IIP figures on the 12th of each month at 5:30 p.m., adjusted for holidays when necessary. The CPI data, a key metric for tracking inflation, provides insights into price changes for various goods and services, while the IIP data gauges India’s industrial growth across sectors like manufacturing, mining, and electricity.

The revised 4 p.m. release timing aims to enhance data accessibility and align with international reporting standards, allowing analysts and market participants earlier access to these crucial indicators.
