Google Pixel 9 Series
Google has launched its highly anticipated Pixel 9 series. This series includes the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and Pixel 9 Pro XL. It’s the first time the company has introduced more than two smartphones simultaneously. The pre-orders have already begun as of August 13, while the smartphones will be available in-store starting August 22.
The Pixel 9 Pro Fold, priced at ₹1,72,999, will be available in the Obsidian colour and the 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage variant. The Pixel 9 starts at ₹79,999, while the Pro models start at ₹1,09,999 and ₹1,24,999, respectively. Pixel 9 family is powered by the brand-new Google Tensor G4 chip.
Realme C63
Realme has launched its budget C63 5G smartphone in India, priced at ₹10,999. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G chip and features a 120Hz refresh rate display, the smartphone is available in two colour options: Forest Green and Starry Gold. It will be available in India starting August 20 on the company’s official website and the e-commerce platform Flipkart. The latest smartphone sports a 6.67-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Redmi A3x
Xiaomi launched its latest budget smartphone, the Redmi A3x, in India. The new smartphone is available in two configurations, a 3GB RAM + 64GB storage variant, priced at ₹6,999, and a 4GB RAM + 128GB storage model, priced at ₹7,999. It is offered in four colour options: Midnight Black, Ocean Green, Olive Green, and Starry White. The smartphone features a 6.71-inch IPS LCD with an HD+ resolution of 1650×720 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate.
Lenovo Legion Tab
PC maker Lenovo announced the launch of its latest gaming tablet, the Lenovo Legion Tab, in the Indian market. It features an 8.8-inch QHD+ Lenovo PureSight gaming display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 500 nits of peak brightness. The Android tablet is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and has 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. It packs a 6,550mAh battery with up to 45W fast charging support.
Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 and Pixel Watch 3
Google has unveiled the next generation of its wearables, the Pixel Buds Pro 2 and the Pixel Watch 3. The Pixel Buds Pro 2 features a twist-to-adjust stabiliser for a customisable fit during exercise and the first Tensor chip in an earbud, processing audio 90 times faster than sound. The Pixel Buds Pro 2 is priced at ₹22,900 in the Indian market.
The Pixel Watch 3 is available in two sizes—41 mm and 45 mm—a first for a Pixel smartwatch. It boasts a 24-hour battery life with an always-on display and can last up to 36 hours in Battery Saver mode. The 41mm variant is priced at ₹39,990, while the 45mm variant is priced at ₹43,990.
Update on OnePlus Buds Pro 3
OnePlus has confirmed that its latest flagship wireless earbuds, the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 will be launched next week on August 20. They come with an 11mm woofer and a 6mm tweeter, Low Latency High-Definition Audio Codec 5.0 and Dynaudio EQ. Reportedly, the box price of the earbuds is ₹13,999.
