Golden Globes 2025 Winners: Selena Gomez’s Emilia Pérez wins big; Shogun, The Brutalist take top honours – CNBC TV18

The 82nd Golden Globe Awards took place on Sunday, honouring the best film and television projects and talents of the year. While The Brutalist and Selena Gomez’s Emilia Pérez won the top honours on Sunday, the likes of Shogun, Baby Reindeer, and The Penguin also picked some leading prizes for TV.

Hosted by noted stand-up comedian Nikki Glaser, the 2025 Golden Globe Awards witnessed Gomez’s French musical crime comedy leading with a total of 10 nominations.

Payal Kapadia‘s All We Imagine as Light ended up losing to Emilia Pérez for Best Motion Picture. In the film categories, there were a few surprise winners from Zoe Saldana, who ended up beating Ariana Grande (Wicked) and even Brazilian star Fernanda Torres.
