In September, total passenger traffic rose 9% year-over-year to 10.2 million, despite a 4% dip month-over-month. Domestic passenger traffic increased 7.5% year-over-year, while international traffic rose by 12.2% year-over-year.
Aircraft movements reached 67,018 for the month, showing an 8% year-over-year increase but down 4% month-over-month. GMR Airports has consistently handled over 10 million passengers each month since December 2023.

This trend contributed to record volumes in the first half of FY25, with more than 63 million passengers served across its airports. Delhi and Hyderabad airports both set all-time highs for passenger traffic and aircraft movements in this period, with Hyderabad reaching record levels in both Q2 and H1FY25.
In September, Mopa (Goa) airport handled 0.33 million passengers, while in H1FY25, it accommodated 2.2 million passengers, marking a 15.1% increase year-over-year.
Domestic traffic saw an increase of 11.9% year-over-year during H1FY25, while international traffic surged by 479.6% year-over-year, driven by the commencement of international operations on July 21, 2023.

Cargo volumes also hit a new peak, with GMR Airports handling around 0.55 million metric tonne in H1FY25, up 14.9% year-over-year. Shares of GMR Airports Ltd ended at ₹89.19, down by ₹0.33, or 0.37% on the BSE.
