The five stocks include Apollo Tyres Ltd., Deepak Nitrite Ltd., Escorts Kubota Ltd. MRF Ltd. and The Ramco Cements Ltd.
NSE mentioned that these five stocks will cease to trade in the futures & options segment at the close of trade on May 27, which will be the expiry of the May F&O series. These means no futures or options contracts will be available for these companies at the end of the May series.
However, the existing, unexpired contracts for the month of March and new ones for the upcoming series in April and May, will continue to be traded and introduced respectively.
Shares of Apollo Tyres are down 27% from their recent 52-week high of ₹584.9.
Shares of Deepak Nitrite have declined close to 36% from their recent peak of ₹3,169.
Shares of MRF, the only name to trade above ₹1 lakh apiece, have also corrected 22% from their recent highs.
Shares of Escorts Kubota, which ended at the day’s high on Thursday, are down 28% from their highs of over ₹4,400.
and shares of Ramco Cements, that are down 12% so far this year, have corrected 20% from their top.
