Exicom Tele-Systems hits 5% upper circuit on ₹1,412 crore order win from RVNL – CNBC TV18

Shares of Exicom Tele-Systems hit a 5% upper circuit on Friday, January 24, after the company secured a ₹1,412.48-crore advance purchase order (APO) from Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL).

This order pertains to the supply of telecom equipment, including power systems and racks, along with a 10-year maintenance contract for the BharatNet Phase III project in Uttar Pradesh, Exicom Tele-Systems said in a stock exchange filing.

The contract covers both the Uttar Pradesh (East) and Uttar Pradesh (West) Telecom Circles, with a delivery timeline of three years for equipment supply and a decade-long maintenance phase.

The total order value includes capital expenditure (Capex) of ₹1,004.97 crore and operational expenditure (Opex) of ₹407.51 crore.

The company’s involvement in BharatNet Phase III supports the government’s efforts to enhance digital connectivity across rural and underserved regions in India, the filing added.

Earlier on January 8, the company announced about signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Mufin Green Infra Ltd.

The partnership aims to enhance India’s electric vehicle charging infrastructure by offering complete, end-to-end solutions, including the installation of EV chargers and infrastructure development.

The collaboration will focus on engaging key stakeholders such as charge point operators, bus operators, state utilities and other end-users to accelerate EV adoption in India.

As part of the MoU, Exicom will manufacture and provide EV charging hardware that meets industry standards and future-ready specifications to support the EV ecosystem.

Exicom will also offer technical support, maintenance services, warranty coverage, and digital solutions. Both Exicom and Mufin Green Infra will leverage their existing and new customer bases to ensure the success of this collaboration.

Opening higher at ₹237.05 apiece on the BSE, Exicom Tele-Systems stock surged 5% to touch an intraday high of ₹244.1 on Friday.
