Easy Trip Planners shares surge 12% after stock trades ex-bonus – CNBC TV18

Shares of Easy Trip Planners Ltd., the parent company of EasyMyTrip, are trading with gains of over 12% on Friday, November 29.

The stock is trading ex-bonus after November 28 was the record date for the company’s bonus issue of shares.

Earlier, Easy Trip Planners has announced a 1:1 bonus issue of shares, meaning eligible shareholders were to receive one free share for every one share held as of the record date.

According to the data available on the BSE, this is the third instance of the company issuing free shares to shareholders. In November 2022, Easy Trip had announced the issue of three free shares for every one share held. It had also issued a 1:1 bonus issue of shares in March 2022.

In case one has purchased the shares of the company today, they will not be eligible for the issue of bonus shares.

Shares of Easy Trip Planners are currently trading 13.1% higher at ₹18.48. The stock still trades below its 52-week high of ₹27.
