Delhivery Q3 Results | Profit more than doubles to ₹25 crore on strong PTL, supply chain growth – CNBC TV18

Logistics company Delhivery Ltd on Friday (February 7) reported a 113.68% year-on-year (YoY) jump in net profit at ₹25 crore for the third quarter that ended December 31, 2024.

In the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, Delhivery posted a net profit of ₹11.7 crore, the company said in a regulatory filing. The company’s revenue from operations increased 8.4% to ₹2,378.3 crore as against ₹2,194.4 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal.

At the operating level, EBITDA fell 6.2% to ₹102.4 crore in the third quarter of this fiscal over ₹109.2 crore in the corresponding period in the previous fiscal. EBITDA margin stood at 4.3% in the reporting quarter as compared to 5% in the corresponding period in the previous fiscal. EBITDA is earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation.

Delhivery reported a 3% year-on-year growth in Express Parcel revenue, reaching ₹1,488 crore in Q3 FY25 compared to ₹1,448 crore in Q3 FY24. Express Parcel shipments grew 2% year-on-year to 206 million from 201 million in the same period last year.

The company’s Part Truckload (PTL) revenue rose 22% year-on-year to ₹462 crore in Q3 FY25 from ₹379 crore in Q3 FY24. PTL volumes witnessed a strong 17% year-on-year growth, reaching 412,000 metric tonne (MT) in Q3 FY25, up from 354,000 MT in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

Supply Chain Services revenue surged 29% year-on-year to ₹222 crore in Q3 FY25, compared to ₹173 crore in Q3 FY24, driven by new client additions and business expansion with existing clients. Truckload Service revenue recorded a 5% year-on-year growth, reaching ₹160 crore in Q3 FY25 from ₹153 crore in Q3 FY24. Meanwhile, Cross Border Services revenue rose 12% year-on-year to ₹43 crore in Q3 FY25 from ₹39 crore in Q3 FY24.

Sahil Barua, MD and Chief Executive Officer said, “Profitability continued in Q3 despite broader industry headwinds and December has been our highest volume month in PTL thus far post integration of Spoton, which has continued into January as well. On the back of growing revenues, rising profitability and a high-quality network, we continue to strengthen our competitive position in the industry.”

The results came after the close of the market hours. Shares of Delhivery Ltd ended at ₹316.75, down by ₹5.00 or 1.55% on the BSE.
