Budget 2025 LIVE Updates | Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharam will table the Union Budget for the 2025-26 fiscal year on Saturday, February 1.

On Thursday, she chaired the seventh pre-Budget consultation with stakeholders from the capital markets and financial sector in New Delhi.

The finance secretary, other senior government representatives were among the key officials who attended the meeting.

As the Budget falls on a Saturday, the exchanges have decided to keep the stock markets open for trading. The equity markets will have a regular trading session till 3.30 pm, the commodity derivatives market will continue till 5 pm.
