The company’s revenue from operations increased 23.1% to ₹216.8 crore as against ₹176.1 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal. At the operating level, EBITDA jumped 47.2% to ₹29 crore in the first quarter of this fiscal over ₹19.7 crore in the corresponding period in the previous fiscal.

EBITDA margin stood at 13.4% in the reporting quarter compared to 11.2% in the corresponding period in the previous fiscal. EBITDA is earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation.
In Q1 FY25, Borosil reported net sales of ₹216.8 crore, marking a 23.2% increase from ₹176.1 crore in Q1 FY24. Sales in the glassware segment rose by 42.2% to ₹55.7 crore, while non-glassware sales grew by 20.3% to ₹85.1 crore. Opalware sales also increased by 15.0%, reaching ₹76.1 crore.

The results came after the close of the market hours. Shares of Borosil Ltd ended at ₹401.90, up by ₹16.25, or 4.21% ,on the BSE.
