The initiative aims to safeguard users from phishing scams, unauthorized transactions due to device theft, and cyber fraud. Devotees can activate the Shield by downloading the BharatPe app and making their first UPI transaction.
The protection remains free for the first month. After the trial, users can continue for ₹19 per month.
BharatPe Shield allows users to claim compensation for UPI fraud within 10 days. The company provides 24/7 support via app, chatbot, and a toll-free helpline for reporting fraud and raising claims.

BharatPe continues to expand its UPI services. Users can scan and pay, transfer funds, check balances, and pay bills across categories such as electricity, gas, DTH, and insurance.
The app also offers discounted gift vouchers from top brands across multiple categories.
