Adani Green Energy, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Adani Renewable Energy Holding Twelve Ltd., has been awarded a significant project by Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL). The Letter of Award (LOA), received on March 27, 2025, grants the Adani subsidiary the rights to supply 400 MW of solar power to UPPCL for a period of 25 years.
The solar power will be generated from a grid-connected solar photovoltaic (PV) power project to be developed in Rajasthan. The tariff for the power supply has been fixed at ₹2.57 per kilowatt-hour (kWh).
This win further strengthens Adani Green Energy’s position in the renewable energy sector and contributes to India’s growing solar power capacity, the company said in an exchange filing.
The company confirmed that neither the promoter nor the promoter group has any interest in UPPCL.
Shares of Adani Green Energy Ltd. are currently trading 1.49% higher at ₹974.25. The stock is down 7% so far in 2025.
