A YouTuber got 192 votes in Delhi election — here’s what he said about the experience – CNBC TV18

A popular YouTuber won just 192 votes in the high-profile Malviya Nagar constituency, 340 votes less than the ‘None of The Above’ option. Even his YouTube livestream (at 7:40 PM) had more views — 873 — than the total number of votes he polled.

Meghnad S, who is well known for his content on parliamentary affairs and public policy, contested from Malviya Nagar as an Independent to prove that “a common man can fight elections without money power and political backing.”

Terming his brief political plunge a great ‘learning experience’, Meghnad said during his livestream, “The money was well spent. I would not have gotten this sort of education about the electoral process anywhere else. This is just the beginning…”
